Mr Phung Khac Ke officially became VietinBank’s BoD member

On 1st November 2014, Vietnam Joint Stock Bank for Prosperity (VPBank) has announced Resolution of Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, dated 31st October 2014, in which, the General Meeting of Shareholders approve the resignation of  Mr Phung Khac Ke from independent board member of VPBank.

 

Pursuant to Resolution No. 999/NQ- ĐHĐCĐ of VietinBank’s Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders dated 24th July 2014, Mr PhungKhac Ke is elected to be member of VietinBank’s Board of Directors for the term 2014-2019 but “Mr PhungKhac Kecan only serve therights and obligations of VietinBank’sindependent boardmemberafterVPBank’s General Meetingof Shareholdersapproves Mr PhungKhacKe to be dismissed from theindependent boardmembers of VPBank”.

Thus, based on the Resolutions of VPBank and VietinBank’s Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, Mr Phung Khac Ke officially became an independent Board member of VietinBank from the date 01st November 2014.
