Announcement on New Business Certificate

On July 6th, 2012, the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi has granted a new Business Certificate for Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank). Based on the new Business Certificate, VietinBank can now perform these following activities in addition to its previous ones:

 

- Trade bonds for profits in accordance with relevant laws and guidelines of SBV;

- Buy bonds for investment purposes in accordance with relevant laws and guidelines of SBV;

- Trade and/or broker derivatives on: exchange rates, interest rates, foreign exchange, currencies, commodity prices and other financial products in compliant with SBV’s regulations and relevant laws for each specific product;

- Provide advisory services on Merger and Acquisition.
