The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on September 15, 2014 issued a series of documents approving the proposal on establishment of 5 branches and 9 transaction offices of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank).
Accordingly, SBV allowed HDBank to open 5 branches in Vinh Long, Lam Dong, Dong Thap, Kien Giang and Hue.
The central bank also allowed HDBank to open 9 transaction offices: Krong Buk (Dak Lak branch), Ngo Quyen (Hai Phong branch), Tu Son (Bac Ninh branch), Center (Nha Trang branch), Long Hau (Long An branch) Dien Bien Phu, Chi Linh (Hai Duong branch), Thai Ha, Thai Thinh (Ho Guom branch).
HDBank shall take responsibility for inaugurating those branches in accordance with Circular 21/2013/TT-NHNN dated September 9, 2013 on operational network of commercial banks and related regulations.
After 12 months from the date of signing of those documents, if HDBank doesn’t open the approved branches and transaction offices, the documents are no longer valid.
